A golden chance to understand how Domain-Driven Design can help us get to know a new domain, work with an existing one, and make sure business and code are perfectly aligned (and everything in between, of course).

🎯 Abstract
Immersing yourself into a new domain is hard. It gets harder as a team and even harder as a whole company of teams.
To slice a domain into mental models that make sense for domain experts and have a feasible cognitive load for the developing teams is not easy. You have to take into account the relationship between the developing teams, the expert availability and the existing technical and domain knowledge.
Defining a common understanding of the socio-technical structure of your domain is one of the biggest challenges that domain-driven design faces.
Let's explore different tools and heuristics to break down the monolithic mental model into domain-aligned bounded contexts.
We will take into account the business value and complexity of the respective models, as well as the alignment with business needs and technical capabilities.
In this session, you will learn to design and evolve a model, that supports autonomous teams and a cohesive implementation.
