At the weekend, Cherries kicked off their return to the Premier League with a convincing 2-0 win over Aston Villa. The game saw Bournemouth play a tactical blinder over a Villa side that looked less than comfortable at defending a set-piece. With the home side's defensive prowess also showing its mettle, Scott Parker has seemingly pulled a rabbit from a hat again with a showing which provides hope for many a Boscombe fan.

Kieffer Moore's inclusion though caused no end of problems for Villa, and with impressive games from Mepham, Tavernier, and Pearson too - Scott has overseen a result which gives Bournemouth fans a much needed boost after was was a shoddy pre-season!
