In this episode: We discuss cat calls, old cartoons, and abortion. Merica ... Fuck Yeah! The Supreme Court just passed an abortion ban, so it's official the myth of the US being a free country is now officially dead.

Are cat calls really a bad thing? Me and Cbird came to the conclusion that if they are not done in a harassing way they can be seen as a compliment. We both agree it is never OK to harass, follow, or stalk a person, but a whistle or cat call when passing can be seen as a compliment. I lived in San Francisco for 20 years and in a couple neighborhoods I would get cat called and even had my ass pinched or slapped on more than one occasion. I would just turn around and smile, appreciating the unspoken compliment of "I would hit that". Now I don't pretend to know what a beautiful woman experiences, and I am sure they get way more attention than they want. I have never had that problem, so to me it was amusing. I am sure my feelings would change if I was stalked or if I didn't feel safe.

It is hard to believe that the abortion issue is even an issue in 2022. We are still indoctrinated to believe we live in a "free" country here in the US, although that is far from the truth. The US has more people in our prisons than China. We rank 3rd in infant mortality. There is one place where the US is #1 (military spending). As society crumbles, we bolster the military.
