Jeanne Lenzer and Shannon Brownlee are both award-winning, well respected, medical science journalists and experts in the field. They have collaborated on groundbreaking investigations into fraud, corruption, conflict of interest etc. in the medical field and both have written celebrated books about the sector. But in their long, esteemed careers spanning decades, neither had ever seen the level of suppression of science, character assassination and fear of potential blowback for simply citing clinical research that didn't align with the limited but accepted mainstream positions on the Covid-19 Pandemic. Both admitted progressives, cite the toxic politicization of science in this particular time which, as they wrote in their piece in "Scientific American", put us all at risk.
