Welcome to the Backwoods Bowhunter Podcast. If you like bowhunting and backwoods humor, then you might have come to the right place. We do not take ourselves too seriously. We keep it real, raw, and have some good ole fun.
Episode 141:
In this humdinger of an episode, Tim & Mike discuss the advantages of harvesting a doe in the early season. In order to reach the maximum potential of your deer herd, does will need removed.

Food plots are expensive and does will wipe out your food sources and have a big impact before the mature bucks possibly ever arrive - keep in mind how important food is after the rut. We suggest leaving those resources for the remainder of the herd, which takes less stress off of the bucks and improves antler growth and development.
