Does plastic surgery make you happy? What does the science say? The answer is… it depends. Plastic surgery has improved many people’s life by fixing an aesthetic problem that has been distracting to their lifestyles. However, happiness is subjective and plastic surgery is not the cure for relationship problems, depression, or BDD (body dysmorphic disorder). Dr. Martin and Amy discuss four different scientific studies that look at the question: “Does plastic surgery make you happy?”
