The podcast is a continuation of Bharatshakti.in’s Technology series. The S 400 Air Defence (AD) The system is of Russian origin and one of the best systems, globally. The Indians took into consideration other top of the shelf systems like the Iron Dome of Israel and the American Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, before settling for the S 400. The podcast dwells on the astounding capabilities of the system. It will provide an unmatchable capability to the IAF to defend our skies. Air Cmdre SP Singh is engaged in a discussion with Brig SK Chatterji (Retd) on the various facets of S 400 system. The Air Cmdre is an experienced fighter pilot with over 3000 hours of flying experience. He has in-depth exposure to the IAF’s Air Defence Systems. Currently, he is with the Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi.
