After realising there was very little available for grandparents who provide childcare for their grandchildren, Tess and her friend Linda set up their very own group called ‘Nana Made Me’ in Birmingham.
Tess explains all about the traditional activities they do and discusses how ideas on parenting have changed over the years!
Tess has worked in education for many years, so she knows all about the importance of developing language and social skills in babies and toddlers. But more than just being great for kids - Tess’ group is helping nans and grandads to make new friends too.
