The thing West Indies fans do best is cuss about everyone and everything and more often than not look for simple answers to complex questions.

There is no doubt that West Indian red ball batsmanship has been on the decline in the region for the best part of 5 years. A test side that has shown middling consistency has had to slowly rebuild the batting blocks in order to compete.

In that regard it was an absolute no brainer to get West Indies batting coach Monty Desai on the podcast to talk batting fundamentals.
