Today we are joined by Jeremy Hills, former Texas running back, and top athletic trainer. Jeremy is known best for his work training athletes in the NFL, MLB, and NBA. Jeremy had a dream of making it to the NFL, but after sustaining an injury at the University of Texas, reality kicked in and he had to think about a complete career change. In this episode, Jeremy talks about the odd jobs he took to stay alive after being injured, we learn how Jeremy found his true calling as a trainer upon being let go from his job at a medical sales company, and Jeremy gives insight into his first job as a personal trainer, which came from working with his former high school football team for free. After years of consistency, hard work, and perseverance, an opportunity came to help former Longhorn and All-Pro Earl Thomas recover from injury, which helped catapult Jeremy's career.
