Dow Porter currently serves as the President
and Managing Principal of Shield Environmental and brought a perspective of a vendor in Commercial Real Estate, assisting commercial real estate principals on the Environmental process.
Dow manages the Assessment and
Remediation Group and over the course of his
career, he has assisted many industrial facilities
and municipalities with industrial compliance
issues including the proper characterization and
handling of solid, special, and hazardous waste.
Environmental studies are a massive part of the due diligence process in Commercial Real Estate and Development, and we were able to get into the details of how that works as well as some common misconceptions.
