FAAV Episode #4 Show Notes:
After a little break, Rob is back with some Flight Sim news including the Aerosoft CRJ, Fly By Wire A32NX, A380X and the Sim Skunk Works TF-104 for MSFS 2020.
Join Rob and his guest Captain Trevor as they discuss their personal flight experiences in the real world Boeing 737-200. Come along for the ride and hear about the loud and smokey JT8D powered airliner and what it took to become a pilot on this classic jet aircraft. Here about their 737-200 ground school and the preparations they took to prepare for sim sessions including learning "flows". Here about the vintage flight simulator in use to train 737-200 pilots and the many techniques used during sim training, including steep turns, engine hot starts, V1 cuts (engine failure during takeoff roll at V1), rudder hard over in-flight and other emergencies. Be sure to check out a Boeing 737-200 flight simulator aircraft for your favourite home simulator (FlyJSim 737-200 for X-Plane, Captain Sim 737 and the Milviz 737-200 FSX/P3D). As always, let us know if you have any questions or comments. Thank you!
