Maurice Freeman is the Head Football Coach at Brooks County High School, in Quitman, GA. In this episode, Coach Freeman talks about his "why" and explains what it was like to return to home and become the Head Coach at his alma mater.
Coach Freeman also discusses how he and his community handled tragedy and used it as rallying cry to come together. Freeman discusses the branding of his program and how the entire community has adopted the "Bring the Hammer" montra. He also provides advice for coaches returning to play and speaks about what he feels every coach and program should be focusing on.
