It’s 34 degrees this morning in the Treasure Valley we’ve had rain, Its 30 in Poky, 26 in IF. Northern Idaho, it’s 34 this morning in CDA and a bit colder in Sandpoint…. Scattered snow later in the week.

On to the markets: Corn futures posted the highest close of the year on the last trading day of 2020. And Nearby contracts are 8 to 9 ½ cents higher, Corn opens up 9 cents, at $4.84.

The wheat complex was mixed at the close of the final trade session of 2020, with all front months but March MPLS settling above $6. CBT December was down by a quarter-cent on the day but rallied 14% during 2020.

Mar 21 KCBT Wheat opens at $6.03 up 2 cents,
Mar 21 MGEX Wheat opens at $5.99, 3 cents,
Over in Meridian :
- Soft White Wheat | 5.65 | up 5
- Hard Red Winter | 6.26 | up 16 - DNS 14% | 5.91 | up 16
- Corn | 5.40 | unchanged

Milk inching up, now trading at $15.81 per hundredweight this morning, up 10 cents.

Front-month live cattle futures open 57 cents higher this morning. December fats expired at $112.95. Cash trade opens this week from $111-112. Feeders are up 12 to 47 cents. The CME Feeder Cattle Index is $138.77, up 6 cents.

Idaho Hay, supreme quality trading at $180, good quality going for $140 feeder demand steady.
