Is. 9:6a The Prince of Peace came to offer us peace with God so he could give us the peace of God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Peace offered is not necessarily peace received. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. Col. 1:19-20 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life.
