Im Laufe seiner 300-jährigen Geschichte hat Karlsruhe die Fackel der Aufklärung immer wacker vorangetragen und auch heute ist die Rolle als Hauptstadt der Technologieregion Verpflichtung. Im Programm des Stadtgeburtstages kommt deshalb die Wissenschaft auch nicht zu kurz. Das Programm des Wissenschaftsfestivals „Effekte“ hat da einiges zu bieten.
