Doug Leone, Partner at Sequoia Capital is widely regarded as one of the most influential investors in Silicon Valley. He served as Senior Steward of Sequoia Capital, one of the most respected venture capital firms in the industry, before stepping aside last year to make wave for a new generations of leaders. He continues to have an active role at the firm.

As a leader at Sequoia, Doug has been instrumental in helping some of the world's most successful companies grow and scale, including Nubank, RingCentral and ServiceNow among many others. He has a wealth of experience in identifying and nurturing the most promising startups. We are also proud to say that Doug is “an Italian in VC”. He moved to America from Genoa, Italy at 11 years old and has often said that he felt like an outsider trying to blend in, which really forged his character.
