Happy Holiday Season! We hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving with lots and lots of delicious food. And of course, we hope you shopped local over the weekend. This week, we are diving in with a holiday tradition. For three generations, Meert Tree Farm has been a part of those holiday memories for thousands of families in the St. Louis area. They are located in Festus with 150 acres filled with rows and rows of Christmas trees. Victoria Meert joined us just days before the madness began to share what it's like to attempt to modernize the Christmas tree farm industry while carrying the legacy that started by her grandfather in the 1960s. It can be a tough industry, depending on mother nature and the economy, but the moment those families walk in for their annual visit to the farm, all is merry and bright. Sit back, plug in and enjoy!
