My name is Jerald Simon, and I am the host of "Music, Motivation, and More - The Positivity Podcast."
I am the founder of Music Motivation® (http://www.musicmotivation.com) and the creator of the Cool Songs Club (https://www.coolsongsclub.com).
Every Monday I release a new podcast that follows the following format:
1. Intro/Opening
2. Positive Perceptions (from Perceptions, Parables, and Pointers)
3. Motivation in a Minute (a motivational/inspirational topic)
4. The Music Within (I take you behind the scenes and explain why I composed one of my pieces from my various albums and then have you listen to the song, piece, or instrumental music with me)
5. Poetry that Motivates - I read one of my poems I have written from one of my poetry books and share some insight about the poem and why I wrote it.
In this episode, 001 - "Music, Motivation, and More", I talk about the following:
1. Intro/Opening: Welcome to Music, Motivation, and More. I introduce myself to you and tell you a little about me and my company, Music Motivation (musicmotivation.com)
2. Positive Perceptions: What do you really want to do with your time? pg. 10
3. Motivation in a Minute (a motivational/inspirational topic): Be your Best. Do Your Best.
4. The Music Within: Triumphant (from the single Triumphant and from my music book also called Triumphant featuring 10 film/score like instrumental pieces I have composed).
5. Poetry that Motivates: - "Act 'As If'" from my first poetry book, "The 'As If' Principle" (motivational poetry) featuring 222 motivational. inspirational poems I have written.
As a professional musician and composer, I have composed hundreds of songs and instrumental pieces. You can listen to my music on Spotify, Pandora, iTunes, Amazon, and all streaming sites. The music is available for purchase from all online music stores.
As a music educator, I have written 25 music books featuring original music I have composed and teaching piano students worldwide about music theory, improvisation, and composition. I began composing what have become known as Cool Songs to help motivate teens to want to play the piano - the FUN way.
