Government restrictions on movement and economic activities in response to COVID-19 have disrupted many small businesses, especially those of already vulnerable populations, like the displaced Syrian and Iraqi communities in Lebanon and neighboring countries. How does the pandemic exacerbate existing challenges for marginalized communities and create new ones? How can businesses around the world adapt and restart once economic activities resume? What are the prospects for a return to financial self-sufficiency?
