Elke maand komen er in ons land nieuwe opvangcentra voor asielzoekers bij, omdat er niet genoeg plaats is voor al wie asiel aanvraagt. De overheid is voortdurend op zoek naar extra locaties om al die mensen op te vangen. Dat kan een oud ziekenhuis zijn, een leegstaand belastingkantoor of een kazerne. We volgen het hele proces: van de zoektocht naar een locatie tot net voor de komst van de eerste asielzoekers, in het nieuwe asielcentrum van Beveren-Waas.
