Climate justice is a hot issue, especially as we experience global climate disasters on an exponential level. There is no dispute that the fossil fuel industry has caused this climate devastation, yet the criminal polluters evade any sort of meaningful legal punishment. Instead, the criminal polluters are paid off due to a series of moronic 'trade deals', beginning with the grand-daddy of trade deal treason--namely NAFTA. The polluters are being paid off with our taxpayers dollars thanks to a mechanism benignly known as ISDS or Investor-State-Dispute arbitration system. Make no mistake, this legal robbery was rubber stamped by both republicans AND democrats. This system makes a mockery of justice itself, and the survival of the planet is at stake.
