In the past several hours, the story broke that Donald Trump was shot at a campaign even in Butler, Pennsylvania. The shooter was promptly killed by the Secret Service detail protecting Trump. Contrary to the MAGA propaganda machine, the shooter WAS NOT a person of color, a member of the LGBTQ community, a liberal, or any other target MAGA has had in their sights. The shooter was a WHITE MALE who was also a REGISTERED REPUBLICAN. Of course, there are appeals to stop the "violent rhetoric" but where were these appeals when MAGA used that same "violent rhetoric" (sometimes thinly disguised as 'jokes); when MAGA threatened the rest of us? In fact, Trump himself has incited violence for years, albeit also as a sick set of jokes, anecdotes, and dog whistle coded language. The message was clear, MAGA has been instructed to hunt, hurt and if they like--murder minorities, (again couched with the 'just joking' and dog whistle language). This show will review a partial history of "violent rhetoric" employed by MAGA, including Trump's speech at the January 6th Insurrection rally. Jeanine
