Now that we live in a social media Era, we have subconsciously adapted the idea that everything in our life has to be perfect and social media worthy. We strive to tidy up our relationships, beauty, and so many other things to make it appear as if they are perfect, when in fact we are all flawed. But, the reality is that Jesus Christ died for our human flaws and sins. He died for our brokenness. God isn't calling "Us" to be perfect, but for us to accept the one true living God who is and His righteousness makes us perfect. As a Christian, we aren't relying on our strength, but the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This births a freedom to not have to have it all together. We don't have to hide our human flaws, because He is made perfect in our weaknesses. The more we are real with who we are and share with others, other people get to see the Glorious miracle power of Jesus Christ.

It's time to be unapologetically us. It is time to not be ashamed of our humanness, but to embrace it and share with the world who Our God is!

Join Pastor Hannah Hooker and myself as she shares her perspective on surrendering her Imposter Syndrome.
