Recently almost every business has brought up how they strive to be more sustainable and eco friendly.. But what does that really mean? The Co-Founders of The Good Side Danielle Selig and Anna Niedermeyer have built their brand around the belief that you can be sustainable without compromising the customer's experience. The Good Side was created just a little over a year ago while two friends grabbed a cup of coffee. Since then, these two have seriously set the bar high for putting sustainability and the consumer first. Below you will see a glimpse of what was discussed but when I say "plus so much more" I mean it! You will learn: (Plus so much more!) What goes into naming a new brand. The non negotiables that went into creating their products. How outsourcing can help your business run more smoothly and what they decided to outsource. The difference between prelaunch and the launch. You will learn what goes into both and how it can be challenging if your skill set is more equipped for one vs. the other. You will also lean how to navigate the learning curves. What goes into finding a good manufacture and that it is okay to stand your ground and fire when needed. How this brand continues to stay professional and still give their personal touches, like having conversations with their customers and asking for real feedback. What you can do as the consumer to hold other brands accountable. You are going to hear several ways that you can tweak your business, products and packaging to make it more sustainable and eco friendly. Why they decided to remove certain wording like "anti-aging" from their marketing. Make sure to use the discount and treat yourself to one of their beautiful products - Code - 20% OFF - NEXTBIGTHING Shop - https://good-side.co/ (https://good-side.co/) Follow on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/goodsideofficial/ (https://www.instagram.com/goodsideofficial/) Contact us - hello@thenextbigthingpodcast.com Follow us on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thenextbigthingpod/ (https://www.instagram.com/thenextbigthingpod/)
