Episode 29.

Organizations can use standards to design and implement quality management systems and processes without the need for third-party certification against those standards. Some organizations, however, choose to certify against standards.

In this episode we hear from Fiona Linton - Information Security and Business Continuity Manager at e.surv Chartered Surveyors, Amanda Woodhead - BSI Lead Auditor for ISO 27001, and Matt Gantley - UKAS Chief Executive, about certification - what it is, how it works and why organizations do it.

The BSI Education Podcast is hosted by Matthew Chiles - Educational Development Manager at BSI, and Cindy Parokkil – International Projects Manager at BSI.
