Kim Hamer is a HR leader and speaker who lives in Los Angeles . Her husband passed away after a long battle with cancer and after his death, she was amazed by the helpful ways people around her showed support. Kim started calling their kind actions "acts of love".

When Kim returned to work she noticed how little guidance leaders received when navigating cancer, health crisis, or death on their team. She knew their lack of knowledge negatively affected morale, employee engagement, and productivity. She set out to change that.

If you haven't dealt with an employee or a friend with cancer, it's only a matter of time.

Kim knows firsthand how vital support from co-workers, organization, and friends is when it comes to an illness. This episode you will learn the one phrase that seems helpful but is not when someone is going through a health crisis and how you can help through acts of love.
