Beeb and I loved the Octo Expansion so much that we just had to dedicate a special episode discussing one of the best DLCs ever made, and my personal favorite singleplayer campaign of the year so far. We dive deep into the twisted lore of Splatoon's world as well as the shockingly (and often uncomfortable) timing of its topics about racism, immigration and the like. Who knew Nintendo would be the ones to knock out a story about such a hot-button issue with less than a third of the budget of David Cage's latest game (and about a thousand percent more subtlety)?
