This week on The Average Conservationist Podcast, Marcus sits down with Justin Madron. Justin is the owner and founder of 2% Certified Farther Afield Design. The guys cover a lot of ground during their conversation ranging from childhood memories to voting lines and grouse hunting. Growing up in a rural area of West Virginia, the outdoors is all that Justin had to keep himself occupied and from that a love for wild places grew. Justin gives some good examples of how his company is using geospatial data to help a number of different companies and nonprofits alike to further their mission along with explaining the difference between what Farther Afield does and how someone like goHUNT is using their mapping system.
