Mike and Charlie recapped a busy news day for LSU ahead of college football's early National Signing Day. Tulane head football coach Jon Sumrall reviewed the Green Wave's 34-24 loss to Memphis with Mike and Charlie. Coach Sumrall also previewed their upcoming matchup against Army in the American Athletic Championship Game. Mike and Charlie answered a question from a WWL listener about the importance of National Signing Day in the transfer portal era of college football. Audacy NFL insider Mark Schlereth, the host of "The Stinkin' Truth" podcast, joined Mike and Charlie. Schlereth shared his thoughts on Sean Payton, Bryce Young, Dexter Lawrence, the Giants' messy 2-10 campaign, and Taysom Hill's season-ending ACL tear. Mike, Steve, and Charlie played their daily "Triple Option" segment. Steve and Charlie slammed the Pelicans' 4-18 start to the 2024-25 season, highlighting Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram missing more time. Zack Nagy, an LSU reporter for Sports Illustrated, previewed early National Signing Day. Steve and Charlie also listened to press conference audio from LSU head basketball coach Matt McMahon ahead of the Tigers' challenge vs. Florida State. Mike Hoss hosted the "Saints Hour" with Saints executive vice president & general manager Mickey Loomis, Jeff Ireland, the Saints' assistant general manager, Daryl "Moose" Johnston, the Fox analyst for the upcoming Saints-Giants game, and Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Reese's Senior Bowl.
