Almost every experience that Elspeth goes through, ends up in one of her poems. Here she takes a selection up to the Covid era including a family beach holiday, the carpet of fallen apples in her garden, and even the big question mark on what happens to the real you when your body is no more! However, she starts on the very practical need to save on heating. So, the humble hot water bottle gets a poem (and a photo) of its own. All this, to the backing of a Caribbean steel band.
