For today’s show, even though I don’t want to spend time on it, I know I need to dive into the school shooting in Nashville, TN. I won’t be giving out the person’s name because I rarely, if ever, add to the notoriety they so often seek. What will be interesting is to see if this story has legs to it or if it disappears after a few days. There have been similarities in Colorado Springs, Denver and Aberdeen. Some of you may not even remember them, that’s how fast they left the front page. In those three cases, just like Nashville, the shooter was a confused, self-deluded individual, living in a self-perpetuated fantasy and was not equipped to handle the real world.

I do spend a little time breaking down yesterday’s press conference from police. After eluding to the fact the trans shooter had a plan, drew out a map and wrote a manifesto, we also learned there was a second target. However, police said, “...because of a threat assessment by the suspect, too much security, they decided not to in that area.” How many times do we have to told by the very shooters themselves, they choose gun-free zones over those where others may be armed. How long do we need to allow soft targets to advertise themselves as open markets for slaughter? FBI stats have been clear on this for decades – 92% of mass-shootings take place in gun-free zones.

Moreover, we have to stop allowing those who live in delusion and confusion to dictate to the rest of us. We have to stop them from redefining words and changing facts to fit their emotional instability. Facts don’t have feelings and they are not subject to your feelings. So long as we continue to support and praise their delusions, these incidents will continue to happen and will likely increase in occurrence. We all have a moral and ethical obligation to protect the young and innocent members of our communities and we have to take a stand now against this radical, woke, ideology that threatens the very fabric of our society.
