Hi there, this is Kris Kaiyala, writer, director, and producer of Dirt - An Audio Drama. Dirt is a fully scripted tale set in present-day Washington State that follows Joseph Elo, a Seattle-based tech CEO, who one day receives a strange letter in the mail that sets him off on a journey to find things long ago buried.
Dirt weaves current-day themes with memories and clues from the past. And at the story’s heart is a vintage metal detector—that seems to have a mind of its own.
Dirt currently features six episodes in Season One, and seven new episodes are just about ready to launch for Season 2. For this nomination showcase, we're spotlighting Season 1, Episode 4, titled “There's Something I Want to Show You,” in which Joseph finds himself at a location from his childhood where he starts to piece together clues that will determine what he does next.
