Upon their continued stay in Arkham prison, Alice and Mouse continue to make plans to escape Arkham. They team up with Tommy Elliot and Magpie for a mission to acquire Lucius’ journal, once they learn of what it contains. Team Batwoman is also on the hunt for the journal, but Kate gets kidnapped while trying to acquire it.
Mary is dealing with the knowledge of Kate as Batwoman and expresses interest in helping Team Batwoman. Kate, however, is on the fence about her joining, because she doesn’t want anymore harm to come to her family. Things suddenly change once Mary helps save Batwoman. The return of another villian creates a problem in the team getting the journal. All of these things conclude with the return of one of Kate’s past flings, and Mary discovers a massive secret previously only known to a few people.
