Can the NHS sustain its current model, especially with the post-COVID backlog?

Join us as we welcome Nicola Ellis-Webb, the Group Healthcare Services Director at Acacium Group, to discuss the intricate and pressing issue of NHS backlogs.

In this podcast, Nicola & Tara discuss:

  1. Insourcing - a strategy used to address the backlog by bringing in specialist teams to help clear it.

  2. The different waiting lists within the NHS backlog, depending on the stage of treatment.

  3. Monitoring the backlog, the importance of looking at trends to assess the impact of interventions.

  4. Collaboration between the NHS and the independent sectors.
