Today we are speaking with Jenni Osborne.
I have the privliege of coaching Jenni as she has developed her professional mentoring service for youth workers. As a life long youth worker herself , as well as a young persons mental health advocate Jenni now mentors those who work with young people.
She helps develop their youth work practice, offers professional reflective skills and ensures they are equiped with the emotional resources and practical back up so that they have an impactful career in youth work.
Jenni has just release an important and timely book titled, “From isolation to community - youth work in the covid era and beyond. “
This celebrates the innovitve youth work that has been taking place while exploring the difficult querstion of where do we go from here?
Reflecting on the varied youth work projects around the UK, Jenni’s book is for anyone in youth work wanting to learn from covid experiences and who are trying to b figure out what we need to focus on as we go into an uncertain future.
I’d really encourage you to think about who needs to listen to this epidode and pass it on to them.
