Cass is a lecturer in New Testament at Whitley College, Melbourne. Previously, she lectured at Morling College in Sydney for more than 14 years. Cass is an ordained minister and has served for more than 20 years in roles such as church planter and associate pastor.

Before serving at Moore Theological College as a New Testament lecturer, Tom was an assistant minister at Yagoona & Condell Park Anglican church.
