In this episode I introduce you to RPE (rate of perceived exertion) and RIR (reps in reserve) which are two effective tools to know how much weight to use and how to stop you training to full failure. I also talk about why it is important to stop just before full failure, and two ways to improve your accuracy and reliability of figuring out how hard you're actually training.
