Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany and Alicia are sitting down for another great conversation, this time diving into a practical way to manage emotions confidently: the ADD Method.

The first step is acknowledge—a simple but often overlooked part of processing our emotions. It’s about taking a moment to recognize what we’re feeling without judgment. Instead of pushing away uncomfortable emotions, we say to ourselves, “It makes sense I’m feeling this way because…”

By acknowledging our emotions, we’re not dismissing them or labeling them as good or bad. We’re simply making space for them. This step is about leaning into God’s compassion for us. He understands our struggles and invites us to be honest with ourselves.
