It’s easy to think that success comes from one big push, a magic moment, a killer strategy. But that’s not how greatness works. Not in business, and definitely not in a chiropractic practice. The Flywheel effect, popularized by Jim Collins, shows us that true transformation is the result of consistent, incremental effort. It’s about pushing, turning, building momentum—slowly at first, then faster and faster—until your practice practically runs on its own energy.

What’s the key? Focus on people, not just procedures. Start by truly understanding the problems your patients face and how they affect their lives. Contrast that with the doom loop: you focus only on pain or push the idea of chiropractic without connecting to what matters to your patients. People drop out. You chase them. It gets awkward. You scramble for new clients. More promotion, more stress, less trust. And the flywheel never turns.
