Patience has paid off for Cameron Rising. After beginning his college career at Texas, transferring to Utah, suffering a season-ending injury in 2020, and winning the starting job back three games into the 2021 season, the redshirt sophomore has taken command of the Utah offense. On October 9, Rising threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-26 win over USC, the program’s first ever at Memorial Coliseum. Host Mike Lageschulte visits with Rising about his journey to that moment and his thoughts on the October 16 match-up with Arizona State, Utah’s first home game since the passing of Aaron Lowe.
