The inspiring couple behind Mahogany Roads are Dave and Nia, veterans, parents and now full-time RV’ers. Originally from New York, they have been fortunate to explore the world through their military experience and together they are now touring the USA with their adorable daughter, Amadhi. They share their journey as they travel across the USA in their RV through their social media and blog, Mahogany Roads.
The inspiration for Mahogany Roads comes from their experiences traveling both individually and together as a couple. They’ve visited so many countries, cities, and small towns realizing that no matter where they went, there always seemed to be very little of “them” around—African-American and Latino travelers.
Throughout this journey, they hope to inspire more people not only within their communities but everyone collectively to get out and experience the various communities around the world. Blend in with the local population; live amongst the people; but most importantly, create your very own social and cultural exchanges that inspire others along the way. Life is too short to live without knowing the freedom of travel, the wonder of new experiences, and the joy of creating new social connections.
