Beats, Rhymes and Race: healing conversations around Hip-Hop and race is a (90) minute bi-weekly podcast designed and produced by Keepers of the Art, Inc to create healing conversations around race relations here in America, through an all Hip-Hop music format.
BRR will bring communities together through the common love of Hip-Hop and its music to begin the much needed healing process to improve race relations in the United States and abroad.
Hip-Hop culture is one of the few social movements that has been able to overcome some of the racial division where mainstream society has failed.
Hip-Hop is an American youth sub-culture that provides a voice for the voiceless, not just in America, but for youth in Africa, South American, Europe and Asia.
The BRR podcast will critically analyze the social, economic and political ramifications of racism from a global perspective, its impact on Hip-Hop and demonstrate how good music and honest conversations about race can help us all be more human.
