2010年4月、情報コミュニケーション学部に、ジェンダーセンターが設置されました。2004年に開設された情報コミュニケーション学部は、明治大学の女子教育を担ってきた戦前の専門部女子部、戦後の短期大学の伝統を引き継いで、当初よりジェンダー研究の推進を、学部の理念の一つとして掲げてきました。学部が目指す多様な人々の共生社会の実現にとって、ジェンダー視点の導入が、不可欠と考えるからです。 In April 2010,in the School of Information and Communication, Gender Centre has been established.
