AI and digital expert Suchi Srinivasan and fintech practice leader Kamila Rakhimova from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) talk to the women at the vanguard of business, digital, and technology. They’re digging into how these powerhouse leaders got where they are—everything from the joy of projects gone right to the realities of family responsibilities. And crucially, asking: what was that moment you knew you weren't merely getting there...you had arrived? That's when you know you're in your element.

It's about looking at the time that we're living in, the past that we've experienced together, and asking about the future that we want to create. We have the ability, intellect, and resources to build whatever world we envision. This will involve self-improvement, community building, and activism. We will also explore the connotative dichotomy of terms that separate us. It is often forgotten or not accepted that the civilization we live in is human-made. That means that the future and the world that we want to live in, and leave for our children is ours to build. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/michael-bazan/support

×On today's show we examine how the belief that health insurance should be tied to employment undermines entrepreneurship. We also clarify that entrepreneurship is not just scalable tech enterprises. It is the neighborhood restaurant, pub, or boutique. It is the independent therapist, electrician, home inspector, artist, hair stylist, or the local non-profit. We talk about how our conditioned consumerism and planned obsolescence not only detrimentally affects our consumer debt, but also fosters human rights abuses around the world. Lastly, I want to express gratitude to my listeners and ask you a question. "Thanks again for following and supporting Looking Forward with Michael Bazan. I wanted to ask all of you a question. I’m thinking of developing LF Daily, which as the name implies would be daily, at least Monday – Friday. Now, with the current format, my goal was to tell more of a historical story, one that stands the test of time a bit better than a daily show. Episodes that would still be relevant years down the road. Plus, there are already so many people across the political spectrum feigning shock and awe with every action an opposing party has. So, I was initially put off by doing that format. I’m not against listening to that format, it just didn’t appeal to me to do myself. But, I firmly believe that we are on a moving train and we need to act swiftly and consistently to create the change that is needed in our communities, in our country, and in our world. Down the road, I also plan to develop an interview format. I’m a pretty independent person, so I started with a format that did not rely on anyone else’s time, work, or participation. It’s 100% my effort, other than the commissions artwork & audio intro and outro. But you get the idea. Now it is time to branch out a bit. So, my question to you is would you be interested in LF Daily and/or an interview format? Please let me know by tweeting a response on Twitter. That has been the most fun format recently. Thank you so much and stay tuned for episode 8, where we talk more about Dave Graeber’s book “Debt: The First 5,000 Years”. We also talk about the myth of the barter that so many economists cling to. Again, let me know your opinion on the formats discussed and until next time, remember to take care of yourselves and each other." --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/michael-bazan/support…

On today’s show, we’ll talk about equality, racism, and being a strong nation within our borders and not just beyond. We will hear an excerpt of Senator John F. We mention Ibram Kendi’s book “Stamped From The Beginning” and Heather McGhee’s Ted Talk “Racism Has A Cost For Everyone”. I also mention cancer and a site that evaluates non-profits on their transparency, accountability, and financial health. I wish a family member well and dedicate the show to three dear friends, who will be sorely missed.
