Rapper Fat Joe introduced a new staple into the urban vernacular lexicon this year when he uttered: "Yesterday's price is not today's price" during an Instagram live stream following the Verzuz matchup between The Lox & Dipset.

The now infamous saying has caught on like wildfire on social media, & has proven timely as popular value store Dollar Tree announced prices will be going "All the Way Up" on select items effectively retiring the store's motto: "Everything's $1".

Could the increase in the 'cost of things' be the reason hundreds of world leaders, politicians, celebrities, & religious leaders have been using offshore accounts to shield assets collectively worth trillions of dollars as revealed in the 'Pandora Papers'? Miami residents (surpassed L.A. in cost of living) & ESPN's Sage Steele (suspended 1 week for racially insensitive remarks about former president Barack Obama) probably wish for "yesterday's price" to stay the same.

This week the Vexed Intellects (& special guest Kenna Williams) discuss all of the topics mentioned, plus...
Ellen Pompeo vs Denzel Washington, author/activist Frederick Joseph vs a Williamsburg 'Karen', Robin Thicke, the return of Rap City, Masculinity, virtual polygamy, & a drunk man helping the police search for himself.

These topics & much, much, more on this episode of The Vexed Intellects!
