Day 348 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.
Esther 9-10 tells about how the Jewish people were saved from a plot to destroy them, thanks to Queen Esther and her cousin Mordecai. The king allowed them to defend themselves against their enemies. The Jewish people celebrated their victory with a holiday called Purim. Mordecai became an important leader, respected for his wisdom and fairness. These chapters remind us how courage and faith can overcome big challenges. Revelation 5 describes a vision where John sees God holding a scroll that no one can open. Then, a Lamb (representing Jesus) who appears as if it had been sacrificed, is able to open the scroll. This shows that Jesus is the only one worthy to reveal God's plans. The chapter highlights Jesus' special role and the respect and honor he receives from everyone in heaven.
