Verse 1 I quit, and went, back to my job To the familiar sea But even at home, I still feel lost Like something is still missing Following him was my greatest adventure But now it just seems too hard Can I find the courage I’ve lost? Before I wander too far And does he still, love me? Verse 2 Then Jesus came, And he stood on the shore And he began to call to me Just like he did before I couldn’t see his face from afar And I wondered what he was thinking So I pressed on through all of the hurt ‘Cause I was dying to see Does he still, love me? Verse 3 He fed us there and was so kind, But at the meals end He asked the question, three times Do I still love him? It grieved my heart to be asked Because he already knew My love for him would come and go It wouldn’t always be true So would he still, love me?
