On the other hand, ".ai" is a top-level domain (TLD) on the internet that is specific to Anguilla. This use of .ai is unrelated to the geographical location of Anguilla; however, it has become a hub for technology and innovation in recent years. Natalie’s article, “EU Resources Boost the Caribbean Intellectual Property Environment”, gives us an insight into the relationship the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has with the Caribbean region and how it has been actively working to strengthen the intellectual property (IP) rights environment in the Caribbean region, particularly to support local businesses that trade their products across borders.
