Jenna O’Malley, your Soul Writer, blends sci-fi/fantasy with dashes of romance and nerdy references to create raw stories about diverse characters throughout time and space. The worlds she weaves highlight issues including women’s rights, the importance of all voices in leadership, LGBTQIA+ alliance, mental health awareness, and anti- racism. Her first pentalogy, The Merna Annals, addresses a few societal norms through the eyes of five immortal species forced to work together to avoid extinction. The question that started it all? What happened to magic and all of its creatures--paranormal, mythical, celestial, or otherwise--according to human history? This series is fit for fans of tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Vampire: The Masquerade or for fans of J. R. Ward, George R. R. Martin, and J. R. R. Tolkien.
